Jumping to my feet, I hesitate on what to do. Assuming whom was knocking was those hunting me, this I was certain of. Looking around for something to catch my eye, I tread softly on the ground as to not stir more interest in this structure. My first decision is to approach the door: placing my hands upon the wood I concentrate on the energy within the wood. Feeling my energy connect with it’s energy, I begin to sense that the door was no more, for I merged it with the walls of the structure to at least provide me a bit more time before these beings find their way in.
After this last kill, I knew I had to get out of here. Thankful for the new ‘eyes’ I had, I was able to make way while the star shown brightly above me. The Brush thickening at the point I reached became difficult to get by. These plants are far different to get around than the ones I was used to. Forcing my way thru, cutting down some strands, I eventually found my way to a random structure within.
Seemingly abandoned like the other I found, but this one seemed to have been a place to stash belongings. I decide to break the lock off the door and enter, taking off my helmet so I can get a better look. Though having gazed over what there was, I understood why it was left behind; there was nothing here among all that happened to be. Even though there was nothing here, didn’t mean the structure couldn’t be used. After waiting for a while, I figured there wasn’t anyone coming this way for me. Something told me it wouldn’t last, but while it did, I could use this place.
Light began to brighten thru a window within the room I remain within. Though I waited for it to brighten before I put on the helmet. However before it seemed to peak, there was pounding at a door which led outside. Not thinking, I hide myself up within the top part of the structure the best I could with what is present. Keeping as still as possible, breathing very slow to help conceal my presence, I watch as something enters. Ever so slow, the being began shouting something which I didn’t understand, over and over.
Coming out of the Under World, blinded by this floating light I rushed towards the closest structure to shade myself. Taking several minutes and blinking repeatedly, my eyes slowly adjusted to the best they could; living to what I understand now as the underground made me ignorant to that which was above, which drove he here in the first place. Though with this light, I couldn’t do much so I decided to wait, to figure something out. Though after a while passed, no closer to coming up with something, the light I realized had slowly been receding. My eyes were able to focus more accurately the more this light dimmed.
